This is a new business role to promote our exciting eMAR software solution, HxCare, to residential care homes throughout the UK. Working both directly with care homes and with our existing community pharmacy customers.

Business Development Manager - HxCare

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

This is a new business role to promote our exciting eMAR software solution, HxCare, to residential care homes throughout the UK. Working both directly with care homes and with our existing community pharmacy customers.

THE PRODUCT:

HxCare allows care homes to replace antiquated paper Medication Administration Records (MAR charts) which are used daily to record details of when and how medicines are taken with much more efficient, accurate and auditable digital records on mobile, tablet devices.


THE OPPORTUNITY:

There are circa 18,000 care homes in the UK with only about 20% currently using eMAR so the market opportunity is huge. In addition to targeting the care home groups directly, we are uniquely placed, supporting over 2,500 community pharmacies, many of whom manage care homes and are eager to use our fully integrated eMAR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End to end sales activity from initial prospecting through to customer sign up
  • Develop, manage, maintain and convert a healthy sales pipeline
  • Progress leads generated for you in a timely, professional manner maximising conversion rates
  • Develop business cases and proposals
  • Deliver against set sales targets and activity KPIs
  • Deliver a monthly forecast and sales report
  • Ensure customer/prospect satisfaction levels are of the highest level
  • Update the CRM with activity and customer/prospect information
  • Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to maximise opportunities
  • Work cross functionally with other departments
  • To adhere to all operating procedures and work instructions in compliance with BS EN ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 27001:2013
  • Any other duties as and may be required

KEY ATTRIBUTES

Essential:
  • Experience of selling technology solutions, preferably eMAR, to UK residential care homes [**MUST HAVE**]
  • Proven track record of field sales (3 yrs. minimum) in a B2B solution/consultative sales environment
  • Target driven with a demonstrable track record of sales achievement
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Customer first attitude
  • Must be a self-motivated team player, able to work flexibly
  • Proactive approach and ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Ability to manage difference between multiple stakeholders
  • Willing and capable of traveling frequently throughout the UK 
  • Strong networking skills 
  • Confident in dealing with people at all levels 
  • Strong negotiating skills

Desirable:
  • Experience in SaaS sales
  • Background in the pharmaceutical industry

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree or equivalent and at least 5 years sales experience
