Lansdales Pharmacy, a family-owned group serving the communities of Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Holmer Green, and Penn since 1999, faced increasing challenges as their NHS and private services expanded. Managing repeat prescriptions, appointments, and patient communications became time-consuming and inefficient. As their customer base grew, it became clear they needed a more streamlined, technology-driven solution to meet the rising demand.
In early 2024, Lansdales Pharmacy implemented MyHealthHub, a patient app designed to simplify pharmacy operations and patient engagement. The app allows patients to order repeat medications and book services, including consultations either in-person or via video call, reducing the need for phone calls and in-pharmacy visits all integrated into their PMR.
Lansdales Pharmacy's success in app adoption stemmed from a focused strategy. They promoted key services, such as the NHS flu vaccine, and encouraged patients to book through MyHealthHub.
To increase awareness, Lansdales utilised in-store marketing materials like flyers and banners. The pharmacy team actively engaged with patients, explaining the app’s benefits and how it simplifies health management. This multifaceted approach effectively drove app adoption and seamlessly integrated MyHealthHub into their services.
