Background

Lansdales Pharmacy is a family-owned group of four independent Community Pharmacies dedicated to serving the communities of Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Holmer Green, and Penn since 1999. They offer a range of NHS and private services across the group and are known for their outstanding customer service, Superintendent Pharmacist, Khal Khaliq is responsible for leading the group and is always on the lookout for ways to improve their operations and the care they provide to patients.

How We Helped

Looking to streamline their technology, transform their operations, and benefit from a wider range of integrations, Lansdales Pharmacy implemented Analyst Integrated Pharmacy Systems (IPS) and Analyst Head Office back in 2018. This move integrated the functionalities of their PMR and EPoS systems, transforming their Point of Sale into a Point of Service and leading to more accurate reporting and centralising control from their head office.

The technology was further enhanced with the implementation of Analyst Handout and Analyst Quickpick, mobile app devices that use scanning technology to streamline the dispensing workflow, improve safety, and enhance patient relationships. More recently, they also introduced HxConsult, a services platform, to support the management of their service delivery.

Outcome

Khal Khaliq, emphasises the benefits, stating, “The features in Analyst PMR, like Assisted Dispensing, have significantly improved our workflow and saved us hours every week. This has not only given our dispensing team and the pharmacists more time but also allowed us to focus more on providing service-orientated care.”

  • Saving around 5 hours in each pharmacy every day
  • Reduced administration burden
  • Enhanced patient safety
  • Giving staff more time with patients and delivering services
The integration of these technologies has played a significant role in enabling Lansdales Pharmacy to achieve excellent customer service. By leveraging the time savings afforded by these systems, the group has been able to allocate more resources to direct patient care and service delivery, further enhancing their standing in the communities they serve.
